Hylozoic Soil: Meduse Field

Hylozoic Soil: Meduse Field was displayed as part of the 2010 Mois-Multi Festival in Quebec City. Working in collaboration with resident sound artist Meriole Lehmann, Philip Beesley and his team used processed audio samples generated from the gentle creaking and rustling noises within the sculpture to generate a visceral aural environment. In addition, smart memory actuated resonators which produced a cricket-like chirping were created.
